Consultancy Services
The National Centre for Health Information Research & Training (NCHIRT) is dedicated to research, training and consulting activities with specific application to data quality in health information systems. The Centre provides specialist advice and consulting services to governments and non-government agencies, public and private organisations and community groups throughout the Australian health care system and internationally.
Our consultants, both academic and professional, have backgrounds in psychology, nursing, public health, health data statistics, health information management, classifications and terminologies, health informatics, injury surveillance, teaching, business and organisational development. They have extensive industry experience in a diversity of health care settings, giving them important knowledge about people, products, processes, and procedures and a greater understanding of the practical needs of health care providers and end-users of health data.
The NCHIRT has positioned itself within the Queensland University of Technology's Network of Research Institutes and Centres
